Review:

The Sixty Minute Family

Share |

This book is a masterpiece of communication. Rob writes with wit and wisdom, panache and persuasion. He uses storytelling, poetic wisdom and practical advice to inspire us to reassess our priorities in family life, build stronger marriages, rethink our relationships with in-laws and grandparents and find ways to resolve conflict.

‘One hour to transform your relationships forever’ is an optimistic subtitle. It needs to be to catch the eye of browsers in our high street bookshops, where The Sixty Minute Family sits comfortably despite assuming a biblical worldview.

This book is accessible to Christians and non- Christians, to traditional families, blended families and broken families. It would be an excellent giveaway via your church’s toddler groups, youth groups, or family events. But don’t just take my word for it – read it yourself to see – it only takes an hour! Krish

HIGH: Rob Parsons inspires us to see how small changes can make a big difference.

LOW: Repetition of material from elsewhere and no explicit engagement with the Bible.
