Review:
The Good Album
After 13 years together and seven releases, veteran rockers All Star United have released what they consider to be ‘The Good Album’, but just how good is it? This album certainly belongs in the pop rock genre and wouldn’t be far off Blink 182 or Fountains of Wayne in terms of musical style. Lyrically, it is by no means a worship album but instead mixes songs about real life experiences with songs about God. The highenergy tracks and fresh feel of this album really make the listener feel young, alive and kicking! Ian Eskelin has years of production experience under his belt and he uses this to give his album a real bold, brash and young feel to it.
HIGH: The whole album is an exciting, high-energy experience which makes for a great listen.
LOW : The constant guitar rock can make some tracks sound a tad samey.
